Orange County Florida switches to high-tech garbage and recycling collecting system
The new carts are part of a new curbside collection program for unincorporated areas of the county.
The goal is to help residents dispose of their garbage and recyclables. The new carts will hold up to 96 gallons of trash - about three times what the old bins hold.
"Two things I believe you'll see: probably less trash in the neighborhood because I think these will hold more and will help keep our community clean," said commissioner Pete Clarke.
